The board once used to unite friends is destined to be alone

When i saw this board i imagined that there was a time when this board meant gathering. Voices around it. Laughter shared. Time spent without noticing it pass. Friends would have fought for the queen and everytime someone would have won it, the feeling would have been lovely.

Now it stands empty. The markings remain, but the purpose has faded. What once brought people together no longer waits for them. The space feels unchanged, yet something essential is missing. Nothing dramatic happened here. No ending was announced. It was used for fun and left behind for isolation in Garage.

Do you remember your first breakup, when the equilibrium was not balanced? At first, you enjoyed her/his company—moments spent together and late-night talks. Suddenly, for the other person, preferences changed. They started finding fun somewhere else, and you were left behind. You were kept in isolation, just like this board is kept. You just waited for them to come back, like this board did.
